The congregation is either a missional community or it is ultimately a caricature of the people of God that it is called to be, a sign, servant and foretaste of the kingdom.

Frameworks for transition and change offer us signposts so we can orient ourselves in places we haven't been. We'll look at one particular map for leading missional change - one that has already been field tested.

Couples Night Out.  In partnership with World Vision, Couples Night Out is an event for laughter and marriage enrichment.  There is a $5 cost for the event per person.  The event will run from 7-9pm with the first 45 min being a comedian like presentation/interaction with the audience, then a short World Vision promotion, then intermission, and then a more teaching/ equipping time for married couples to strengthen their marriages.  Location: Trinity Baptist Church, 1905 Springfield Rd, Kelowna.

We're going to have a great time with a showing of "At the end of slavery" Documentary from IJM, students from Freedom 151 sharing about their journey, and worship with Corey Doak  - Cost: $5. All proceeds go to IJM and the Alexandra Gardner House.
